Hybrid Model - 2/3 days in office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire Are you passionate about driving high-quality, sustainable retrofit projects? A leading organisation in the built environment sector is seeking both a Retrofit Technical Solutions Advisor and an Assistant Retrofit Technical Solutions Advisor to join their team on a
full-time, permanent
basis. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 standards, delivering retrofit coordination and assessments across a portfolio of energy efficiency projects. Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of
Retrofit Coordination
on live projects, ensuring full compliance with
PAS 2035
frameworks and best practice.
Conduct
Retrofit Assessments, evaluate property suitability, and recommend appropriate energy efficiency improvements.
Provide
technical oversight, supporting project quality assurance (QA) processes on Retrofit Assessments, Coordination, and Design.
Verify project data, audit trails, and documentation for compliance audits, funding applications, and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams, project managers, and contractors to integrate retrofit measures into design and construction workflows.
Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and industry regulations.
Participate in technical meetings and project reviews, contributing to risk mitigation and continuous improvement strategies.
Assist in the creation of internal guidance documents and training materials to support standardised retrofit processes.
Monitor developments in policy, technology, and funding to ensure alignment with current and future retrofit opportunities.
Conduct pre- and post-installation evaluations to measure impact and support optimisation.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure full project compliance.
Support procurement teams in selecting sustainable materials and compliant contractors.
Contribute to strategies that
maximise funding opportunities
through integration of relevant financial incentives.
What Were Looking For
Experience delivering
retrofit coordination or assessments
on residential or mixed-use buildings.
Strong knowledge of
PAS 2035, energy efficiency measures, and building performance.
Excellent technical communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Understanding of quality assurance processes, compliance auditing, and documentation requirements.
Familiarity with industry regulations, sustainability best practices, and funding schemes related to energy efficiency and retrofit.
Qualifications or certifications in Retrofit Coordination, Energy Assessment, or a related field are desirable.
