Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring high-quality standards.
* Serving food to customers.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
* Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
* Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as required.
Experience
* Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is essential.
* A background in hospitality, showcasing your ability to work well under pressure.
* Basic knowledge of food safety practices is desirable to maintain health standards.
* Strong time management skills are essential to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
* Bartending experience is a plus
