We are currently supporting a well-established and expanding organisation in their search for an HR Advisor to join their dedicated HR team at their Birmingham head office. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations & Policy Support Lead and advise on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, welfare and flexible working cases Draft and issue formal documentation such as invitation and outcome letters Support and lead return-to-work and investigation meetings Contribute to updating and implementing HR policies and procedures Support redundancy processes where required General HR Operations Manage the probationary review process in partnership with line managers Maintain HR records and systems with high accuracy Prepare HR reports and support with data analysis in Excel Assist with writing job descriptions and person specifications Support recruitment activity: posting job ads, shortlisting, liaising with agencies, and conducting interviews Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment Coordinate induction and onboarding processes Administrative & Payroll Liaison Maintain personnel files and ensure all HR documentation is filed appropriately Respond to reference and data requests Liaise with payroll for absence reporting and new starter information Manage the HR inbox and general HR queries Coordinate temporary staffing arrangements in partnership with external agencies What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a generalist HR role Confident managing ER cases independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisation and attention to detail Sound working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Excel Up-to-date understanding of UK employment legislation Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel on occasion REF: EN856 Note: Hollyfield Personnel will contact successful candidates.
