Known for delivering world-class experiences across iconic venues, restaurants, and events, we've now brought our expertise to The Island Quarter in Nottingham, with headline venues Cleaver & Wake and Binks Yard at the heart of the city's most exciting regeneration project.
We're hunting for a Marketing & Social Media Executive who lives and breathes digital storytelling, understands how to drive engagement, and is passionate about food, drink and live experiences.
Role Purpose:
This role is all about making 1 The Island Quarter a destination of choice - from buzzing terraces and live music at Binks Yard to elevated dining at Cleaver & Wake. You'll support the Marketing Manager in delivering impactful campaigns, keeping our digital presence fresh, and ensuring all marketing collateral reflects our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
1. Manage day-to-day activity across our social channels including content creation, scheduling, posting, and community engagement.
2. Generate creative content ideas that showcase food, drink, events, and people.
3. Work with photographers, videographers, promoters and partners to create best-in-class visuals.
4. Keep the content calendar up to date and aligned with business priorities.
Marketing Campaigns & Promotions
5. Support the planning and delivery of campaigns for seasonal launches, events, and brand initiatives.
6. Track, measure, and report on campaign performance - sharing insights to optimise future activity.
Collateral & Brand
7. Keep all marketing materials (menus, flyers, posters, screens, digital assets) current and on-brand.
8. Support with design tweaks using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
9. Ensure consistency in tone of voice and visual identity across all platforms.
Coordination & Administration
10. Provide organisational support to the marketing team, including scheduling, project tracking, and maintaining key records.
11. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to keep campaigns on track.
What We're Looking For
12. 2-3 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle, or events.
13. Demonstrated knowledge of social media management and content creation.
14. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
15. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, can-do approach.
16. Comfortable using marketing and design tools (Canva essential; Adobe Creative Suite desirable).
17. A passion for food, drink, and entertainment and the ability to translate that passion into engaging content.
18. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends to capture content at events.
