Instructor/Apprenticeship Progress Mentor – Arboriculture and Forestry
Salary: Up to £31,368 including a market supplement payment (dependent on qualifications, skill-set, and experience)
Working Pattern: Full Time (37 hours per week) / 52 weeks per year
Location: Based at the Sparsholt campus

The Role
This is an opportunity to join a well-resourced team known for high-quality training. Working 37 hours weekly, the role involves delivering training and instruction on various short courses for learners and commercial clients. It also includes working with the Apprenticeship team to support apprentices through their programmes, including workplace visits for reviews.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in arboriculture or forestry
* Proven training experience and at least 3 years of industry experience
* Experience preparing candidates for NPTC tests in chainsaws, aerial rescue, and climbing
* Knowledge of machinery courses involving chippers, stump grinders, tractors, and hedge trimmers
* Preferred: NPTC competence qualifications in relevant areas
* Minimum: Qualifications in chainsaw crosscut and maintenance, climbing and aerial rescue, aerial tree cutting using free fall techniques
* NPTC/Lantra assessor/trainer status is advantageous
