Pay: Rate starts from £15.59 per hour; additional payments may apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexible options down to 12 hours.
Responsibilities
* Work in a fast‑paced retail environment creating a positive customer experience.
* Take ownership of duty shifts, coordinating the team to keep the store clean, well‑stocked and exceeding customer expectations.
* Listen to customers and ensure they leave with what they intended to buy.
* Find ways to improve service, including coaching colleagues and providing feedback.
* Guide and support colleagues to maintain a safe work and shopping environment.
* Track store performance and collaborate with managers to implement improvement actions.
* Lead by example and set a high standard for all tasks.
* Ensure the store is opened and closed properly, completing duty cover and making decisions that safeguard everyone’s safety.
* Act as the go‑to person for colleagues when a manager is absent, supporting queries and maintaining communication.
* Keep the store clean, tidy and well‑presented at all times.
* Assist managers with seasonal, community and charity events.
* Contribute to an inclusive team atmosphere that values everyone and celebrates great service.
* Follow health and safety routines, ensuring colleagues do the same.
* Stay informed on communications, changes or updates and keep the team up to speed.
* Look for opportunities to simplify operations and improve the store experience.
Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
