About the Roles
You will become part of a multidisciplinary team supporting pupils with a range of complex additional needs, including:
* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
* Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
* Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
* Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
* Sensory processing needs
* Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Working closely with teachers, therapists, pastoral teams, and families, you will help deliver personalised, needs-led support tailored to each pupil’s EHCP outcomes and developmental profile.
Daily responsibilities may include:
* Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
* Supporting communication through Makaton, PECS, AAC, visual timetables, and Intensive Interaction approaches
* Assisting pupils with emotional regulation and sensory integration strategies
* Helping pupils develop independence, life skills, and social communication
* Working collaboratively with Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapy teams
