We are seeking an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for supporting professional development and service improvement? We are looking for a dedicated Performance, Improvement & Professional Development Administrator to join our Therapies Directorate team.
This role is vital in supporting recruitment, training, and student placement programmes for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), as well as providing administrative support for audits, meetings, and service improvement initiatives.
The post holder will work closely with the Business Support Administrators assisting with the delivery of all administrative processes required for the effective and efficient delivery of procedures in line with Directorate standard operating procedures.
The post holder will be able to work on their own initiative, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes. They will be required to work as an effective member of the team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and be innovative and adaptable with a desire to ensure robust and efficient administrative systems.

Main duties of the job
* eliver high-quality administrative support across performance, improvement, and professional development functions.
* Support recruitment, training, and mentorship programmes for Band 5 AHPs.
* Coordinate student placements for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and manage action trackers.
* Create and maintain professional documents, reports, posters, and leaflets.
* Manage centralised email accounts and ensure timely communication.
* Maintain and update systems such as SharePoint, MS Teams, and E-roster.
* Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and service improvement projects.
* Provide support for events, training sessions, and conferences.
* Order and receipt goods, manage stock, and report maintenance issues.
* Support induction processes and maintain accurate records and data systems.

Essential criteria
* GCSE Level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English Language
* NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent experience or education
Experience

* Experience in a similar role with a knowledge of administrative systems and processes
* A proven record of being able to work within set timeframes working to priorities and deadlines
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including intermediate level Word, Excel and PowerPoint
