The role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Night Shift HGV Technician position based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

Up to £25.00 per hour depending on experience, equivalent to a potential £52,000 annual salary

Performing comprehensive repairs and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles
Conducting routine inspections, including tyre rotations and oil changes
Diagnosing faults using current diagnostic tools and techniques
Maintaining accurate records of repair work and warranty claims
Managing inventory and ensuring workshop cleanliness
Providing emergency roadside repairs when required
Supporting junior team members with technical training and guidance
Completing all relevant documentation in accordance with company and industry standardsRequirements as a Night Shift HGV Technician:
Level 3 (NVQ, City and Guilds, or IMI) qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
Proven experience in heavy vehicle repairs and diagnostics
Knowledge of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
Full UK driving licence suitable for HGV vehicles
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
