Job Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled individual to join a senior nursing team within the Women’s Services in the Women’s Children’s and Families Division. This role combines the management and co‑ordination of care teams delivering services to patients across a variety of clinical specialties. You will provide strong leadership and operational management to the nursing & midwifery teams whilst supporting multi‑disciplinary service delivery. This is a busy and demanding yet rewarding role, offering opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues from a diverse range of specialties. The successful post holder will join a team responsible for the operational management and strategic development of Women’s Services.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate care teams delivering services across a range of clinical specialties.
* Provide strong leadership and operational management to nursing & midwifery teams.
* Support multi‑disciplinary service delivery and operational management.
* Contribute to the strategic development of Women’s Services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Extensive experience in a nursing and/or midwifery leadership role.
* Robust understanding of quality improvement and service development.
* Proven track record of managing people and evidence of improving care for patients.
* A Masters qualification or evidence of postgraduate study/development at this level is required.
