About the Role:
1. Oversee the accurate receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter and verify stock availability upon acceptance.
2. Prepare and label prescriptions promptly and accurately, ensuring they are ready for pharmacist.
3. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with prescriptions.
4. Confirm patient identity and provide guidance on how to use prescribed medication, where appropriate.
5. Complete all required documentation accurately, including prescription endorsements and register entries.
6. Dispense medication into monitored dosage systems or compliance aids when needed.
7. Manage the ordering, collection, and delivery of repeat prescriptions, ensuring records are kept and patient consent is obtained.
8. Monitor and maintain stock levels, order necessary items, and ensure proper stock rotation.
What We’re Looking For:
9. A strong commitment to patient care and community values.
10. NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
11. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
12. A team player who is dependable, professional, and supportive of colleagues.
