The Structural Dynamics Lab is looking for a Test & Evaluation Engineer with a strong technical background and previous test experience to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will support test efforts through the entire product test lifecycle, including proposal, planning, design and build, test execution, and post-test activities. Testing types include acoustic, freeplay, ground vibration, modal, impact, shock, vibration, and pyrotechnic testing. Experience with suspension and/or isolation systems is a plus.
Our teams are hiring for a range of experience levels, including Entry-Level and Associate.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Participate in gathering and analyzing requirements for test measurement systems.
2. Assist in developing test procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definitions within the test plan constraints.
3. Develop solutions for calibration systems problems.
4. Perform data analysis and develop data processing tools.
5. Design simple hardware or software components.
6. Use analytical tools to verify designs.
7. Verify complete data collection.
8. Maintain test logs, prepare reports, and archive data.
9. Work under direct supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Level 2: 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Structural Dynamics Test Experience.

Pay ranges: Entry-level: $68,000-$92,000; Associate level: $79,900-$108,100.

Employment is full-time, with shift 1 (U.S. standard hours).
