Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Residential Children’s Support Workers to join our team in Wymington, providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential care settings, utilising long-tail keyword expertise in residential childcare and support work.
Key Responsibilities
As a Residential Children’s Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day care and emotional support, promoting independence and positive behaviour, maintaining a safe and supportive living environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to implement individual care plans, applying your knowledge of childcare legislation and residential care best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need experience supporting vulnerable children or young people in residential care, strong communication and teamwork skills, a compassionate, patient, and resilient nature, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts, with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare being preferred but not essential, and a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
