Stephen James Consulting continue to work with one of their expanding Adult Specialist Care providers, in the search for a Service Manager based in Hailsham, West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day operations of a complex care service

Leading, inspiring, and developing the clinical and support teams
*
Maintaining robust governance, quality assurance, and CQC compliance
*
Ensuring safe and effective care delivery for adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs
*
Overseeing budgets, staffing, and performance to ensure long-term sustainability
To be considered for this role, you will need:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered or Service Manager within Learning Disability and Mental Health services (essential)
*
Skilled in leading teams and managing challenging behaviours
*
Proven track record of achieving strong CQC outcomes
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
*
Experience in financial management, data analysis, and service development
*
Resilient, proactive, and able to balance both operational and clinical priorities
