Position
Role: Proactive Operations Planner
Location: Customer Solution Centre, Slough, Berkshire
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (8:00–16:30), 1 in 3 weekends with the Monday and Tuesday off in lieu
Salary: OTE £27,800 per annum

About the Role
We are looking for customer-focused people to join our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver practical solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
Responsibilities
* Allocate all WNS contract works to Field Engineers to optimise productivity within the specified geographic area.
* Transfer and record data into multiple spreadsheets to ensure Field Engineers can complete works on a first-time fix.
* Ensure office enabling and provide Field Teams with all required information and equipment to complete works on first-time fix.
* Communicate requirements for works to Engineers via Salesforce, email, telephone and text.
* Allocate work and meet all Traffic Management and Permit requirements for a geographic area.
* Be the focal point for all works in the geographic area and re-allocate resources when needed without impacting customer promises.
* Escalate operational and customer difficulties to the Planning Manager in a timely manner to enable solutions.
* Manage appointments via CGS procedures and keep Customers updated; ensure engineers attend as agreed.
* Monitor SLAs and reduce customer updates/callbacks by planning effectively and providing outbound updates.
* Maintain regular liaison with Field Engineers and Field Managers to ensure works are planned and completed as agreed.
* Monitor email inboxes and respond promptly to related communications.
* Answer phone calls within the agreed time frame and ensure call handling complies with team guidance.
* Take responsibility for planned works and Customers to drive satisfaction and meet required dates.
* Undertake other reasonable duties, activities or projects as required.
* Be aware of Lanes Group policies and responsibilities toward them.
