Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Assistant to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong leadership skills. This role involves managing daily activities, fostering development through play and learning, and ensuring the well-being of each child in your care.
Responsibilities
* Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in a nursery setting.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive environment.
* Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and play sessions.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to explore and learn.
* Observe and document children's progress and behaviour to share with parents or guardians.
* Drive children to various activities or appointments when necessary.
Requirements
* Qualification in Childcare
* Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
* Strong leadership abilities to guide and support both children and fellow staff members.
* Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with children and parents.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
* A valid driving licence is for transporting children as needed.

Pay: £12.21-£12.60 per hour
