Overview
Are you a clinician with RGN/RMN/RNLD, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Paramedic qualifications? This role focuses on applying your clinical skills to assess customers and contribute to decisions on support provided by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).
Responsibilities
* Assess up to a maximum of four to five customers per day, taking clinical observations and questions to create a written report for the DWP decision process.
* Ensure reports form part of the decision, with customer satisfaction historically around 96% for assessments.
* Participate in industry-leading training to develop knowledge in mental health and musculoskeletal areas.
* Maintain and develop clinical skills through ongoing CPD and revalidation support.
* Prepare and preserve your professional portfolio in line with NMC/HCPC requirements (as applicable).
Training
Full training is approximately six months, during which you will be paid. Training ensures you maintain NMC registration (RGN/RMN/RNLD) and gain revalidation support.
Development
After training, you will continue with ongoing CPD (over 100 hours per year), revalidation support, and opportunities to advance within the organisation while maintaining your clinical skills in RGN/RMN/RNLD or Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Paramedic fields.
Requirements
* One year post-registration with the NMC/HCPC or overseas equivalent as an RGN/RMN/RNLD, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic.
* Computer or IT skills are essential.
* Typing ability with a speed of at least 40 words per minute.
