My client is looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our business. You’ll report directly to our Finance Manager, and play a key role in keeping our accounts running smoothly. What you’ll be doing: * Processing accounts payable invoices * Raising purchase orders (POs) * Reconciling sales orders with our payment portal and accounting systems * Chasing outstanding payments and managing debtor communications * Responding to finance-related email requests * Reviewing staff expenses * General admin, data entry, and accuracy checks What we’re looking for: * Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role * Good working knowledge of Xero is a big plus * Understanding of VAT is desirable * Solid attention to detail and the ability to stay organised * Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines You’ll be part of a supportive team and get exposure to a broad range of finance tasks as they continue to streamline and automate our processes
