MTrec are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Sheffield, who are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. In this critical role, they are looking for an individual with a can do attitude who has a drive to succeed.
The Job You'll Do.
- Responding to Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns & faults and managing planned & reactive work in a timely and logical manner.
- Carry out electrical installation work as required.
- Using appropriate data and systems to manage the sites electrical & control systems.
- Liaise with and assist in the managing of third-party contractors.
- Liaise and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Working safely throughout all activities in line with safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any task.
- Ensuring applicable compliance is maintained.
About You;
- Time served apprenticeship in maintenance engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)
- A HNC or above in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- PLC fault finding experience (desirable)
- Enthusiastic and computer literate
- Good interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised
