Location: Warrington Full-time
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 dependant on experience

The Role
As our new Head of Driver Training, you'll be responsible for the delivery of best-in-class HGV driver programmes, ensuring drivers are trained to the highest standards of safety, compliance and customer service, whilst meeting all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities for Head of Driver Training
* Lead, develop and coach a high performing Driver Trainer team.
* Ongoing development of a best in class training programmes to ensure compliance to legal and safety requirements.
* Monitoring Driver performance and devising strategies to support this through advice and targeted retraining.
* Supporting RTC investigations and retraining.
* Foster a safety-first culture through leadership and behaviours.
About You We're looking for someone who brings:
* A minimum of 5 years HGV logistics/transport experience (essential) working in a large fleet operation.
* FMCG or Retail experience (essential). Double decker trailers /cage deliveries experience (desirable).
* Category C / C+E Licence (HGV Class 1), Driver CPC, DVSA approved instructor (essential)
* Knowledge and application experience in fleet compliance and O licence legislation.
* Excellent health and safety knowledge its application.
* Ability to set high standards in terms of conduct, behaviour, legal compliance and quality, whilst fostering a safety-first culture.
* Personal drive to continually improve the Driver Trainer offering.
