Your Contribution & Responsibilities
As a core member of the service team in Corby, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of diverse commercial vehicles.
* Carry out detailed maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to DVSA standard.
* Quickly and accurately diagnose and rectify all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Act as an HGV Mechanic for occasional roadside callouts.
* Ensure meticulous completion of all job cards, adhere to health and safety regulations, and maintain workshop cleanliness.
What You Need to Succeed
We are looking for a proactive HGV Technician who is dedicated to precision and quality workmanship.
* Essential: Technical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ qualified) and strong diagnostics skills as an experienced HGV Mechanic.
* Skills: Excellent communication, computer literacy, and flexibility. Current full UK driving licence is required.
* Desirable: Experience on Scania products, main dealer experience, or an HGV/Fork lift licence are a bonus for this HGV Technician role in Corby. This is ideal for a talented Mechanic looking for stability.
