Building & Design Services are Hull City Council's Construction Design Consultancy Department providing a comprehensive range of construction design services which cover Operational, Commercial, Corporate, and Housing portfolios and include architecture, building and quantity surveying, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering, landscape architecture, statutory compliance, property maintenance, asset management and land surveying.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, professional, and motivated individual reporting to the Associate Professional Lead for Architecture. You will primarily be assisting in production of adaptation and renewal design projects including CAD drawings and ensuring feasibility and tender information service delivery is maintained and upheld.
You will have a varied role, undertaking surveys, drafting technical design drawings and preparing technical specification proposals. Additionally, you will consult with relevant parties to identify needs and implementation of replacement and improvement projects.
Candidates shall have a proven experience in a similar role and a working knowledge of the associated legislation, British Standards and Building Regulations, is essential.
This post would be ideal for an architectural technologist with experience of housing design.
