Job Description
3. Manage and develop relationships with key retail accounts.
4. Have a specific focus on building up lapsed accounts and new relationships - you'll need to be new business minded, with experience of onboarding new national accounts.
5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to ensure profitability.
7. Contribute to the development of the broader business commercial strategy
The Successful Applicant
A successful National Account Manager - Business Development should have:
8. Proven experience managing and onboarding national accounts across High Street Retailers and/or Grocers within FMCG / Consumer Goods
9. Relationship centric approach - able to build trusted partnerships over transactional deals
10. Growth minded, tenacious and keen to really build something
11. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic SME environment
