Are you a hands-on mechanic with experience in classic cars, heritage vehicles, or historic race cars?

Join one of the UK’s most respected classic and competition car specialists, based in West Sussex, working on some of the most iconic and valuable classic vehicles in the world.

We’re looking for a skilled, passionate, and experienced Classic Car Mechanic, Historic Motorsport Technician, or Vintage Vehicle Engineer to join a leading team specialising in restoration, race car prep, and collector vehicle servicing.

Role Overview – What You’ll Be Doing:

Full nut-and-bolt classic car restorations

*

Historic race car preparation and ongoing race support

*

General servicing, mechanical repairs, and classic car diagnostics

*

Engine building, gearbox rebuilds, and drivetrain restoration

*

Working closely with in-house machining, fabrication, and engine departments

*

Maintaining and upgrading vehicles for optimal track and road performance

You’ll work on high-end collector cars, including Jaguar E-Types, Lotus Cortinas, Aston Martins, and historic racing vehicles from across the decades.

Ideal Candidate – What You’ll Bring:

Proven experience as a classic car mechanic, vintage technician, or historic motorsport engineer

*

Skilled in engine and gearbox rebuilds, vehicle diagnostics, and vintage servicing

*

Ability to work on classic systems: carburettors, distributors, mechanical linkages

*

Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills – attention to detail is essential

*

Must take pride in delivering high-quality, authentic workmanship

*

A proactive, positive, team player attitude

Bonus if you have:

*

Welding, metal fabrication, or CNC machining experience

*

Motorsport pit crew or race event support experience

*

Familiarity with marques such as Jaguar, MG, Triumph, Bentley, Lotus, Austin Healey, Aston Martin
