We are recruiting for a Pharmacy manager for our client based in Oban. Leading the day-to-day running of a community pharmacy, you will be managing the pharmacy support team and combining hands-on clinical work with leadership alongside another pharmacist in store. This role exists to provide safe, accessible pharmacy services and healthcare advice to the local community. The role With a salary from £60,000 per annum doe, as Pharmacy Manager, you'll hold overall responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy. You'll balance clinical duties with leading and supporting colleagues to deliver patient services and meet NHS and GPhC requirements. The role also offers scope to develop your leadership skills and support the growth of the wider pharmacy team. What you'll be doing * Making sure medicines and pharmacy expertise are easily accessed, including dispensing and providing healthcare advice. * Leading, motivating, training and developing the pharmacy support team. * Building and maintaining working relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries. * Checking and submitting accurate payment claims for services covered by the NHS. * Managing clinical governance and ensuring compliance with GPhC guidelines. * Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, high-performing pharmacy environment. What we're looking for * MPharm degree or equivalent. * Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). * A passion for leading, empowering and developing a team. * Self-motivated and well organised approach to work. * Strong leadership skills in a community pharmacy setting. * Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and services.
