PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £28,100 – £34,367 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Join our dynamic team as a Media Scheduler, where you'll play a key role in shaping how our content reaches and resonates with audiences. Reporting into the Media Portfolio Lead you'll be responsible for scheduling promotional media across our digital platforms, ensuring every opportunity is used to its fullest potential.

The media planning team sits within the wider Wales Marketing and Audiences (M&A) department, which is part of the Nations Division within the Chief Customer Operating Group.
The role is based in the Central Square office in Cardiff, with hybrid working (two days minimum in the office).
Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
* Develop and implement digital campaign plans in collaboration with the Marketing and Creative colleagues
* Identify and execute cross-promotion and reactive opportunities to guide audiences across BBC services.
* Schedule and manage media across digital inventory.
* Stakeholder relationship management, via both verbal and written communication.
* Analyse audience data to inform scheduling decisions and optimise inventory usage.
* Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and analysis to relevant stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* STRONG EXPERIENCE OF MEDIA PLANNING Knowledge and experience of media planning/scheduling within a broadcast, advertising, or media agency.
* STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT Stakeholder management at varying levels - persuasion and influencing via good communication skills via both verbal and written communication
* DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING Experience of analysing and interpreting data/spreadsheets - making decisions based on that and reporting effectively
* PLANNING AND ORGANISATION Planning and organisational skills - attention to detail and able to adapt to changes in plans around deadlines and resourcing
* ANALYTICAL THINKING Able to simplify complex problems, processes or projects into component parts, explore and evaluate them systematically.
DESIRED
* Interest in and knowledge of broadcasting.
* An understanding and application of media research and marketing within a broadcast environment.
* Experience of developing new ways of working and processes.
* Can maintain effectiveness in the face of pressure, setbacks or when dealing with difficult situations.
