About the Role
Working within the Technical team, this role will be responsible for providing design advise and respond to product technical enquiries in relation to wienerberger products in accordance with the company’s quality assurance procedures.
This will be office/site based, but some travel will occasionally be required to assist on projects, site visits and overseeing product testing. Travel expenses will be supported in these instances.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide and manage departmental response to product technical enquiries via Phone, email and in person.
* To liaise with the Sales team regarding design enquiries, promoting sales of the company’s products and adopting a high profile where prestigious and major projects are involved
* To be actively involved as requested on key project working groups, and to contribute to company initiatives in relation to innovative products and construction systems
* To provide technical expertise in the production of company literature
* To provide in-house technical training to the Sales team, and internal staff, through attendance at regional and smaller group meetings
* Lead/assist in gaining certification for company products/systems
The role could be supporting either our Roof or Wall products as we have two opportunities available.
Hours of Work: Mon to Fri. 9am to 5pm
About You
You will be a confident administrator with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
You’ll have recent experience in role providing support to colleagues/customers via phone/email/in person.
You will also have

* Comfortable adapting and reacting the changing priorities
* Experience using Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Excel)
* A background working in manufacturing or construction is advantageous
