Business Development Manager – PUBLIC SECTOR Access to offices in Surrey 4x a week. Hybrid role – Home, office and field based. Base Salary £50-60k with Double uncapped OTE This is an amazing opportunity to join the market leader and key innovator in the field of Digital Engagement for the Local Govt and Social Housing Space. The role involves the sale of modular SAAS solutions, managed services and consulting. We're on the lookout for a driven, ambitious Business Development Manager to join our clients expanding new business sales team. Selling market-leading Digital Transformation solutions to C-level executives across the public sector. This role promises to be fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic. Day-to-day involves managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish (from cold call to close). You'll need to dig deeply into companies and the industry to understand the critical issues they're facing and the solutions they need. And of course, you should desire to learn and communicate the Group value proposition effectively. Your main tasks: presenting and demonstrating solutions to C-level executives, building robust relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiating complex agreements. Applicant – * 3 years b2b SaaS sales experience * Experience with the social housing space. * Proven successful sales experience of achieving targets. * Proven Tender management and delivery experience. * Enjoy working and taking pride in achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets whilst maintaining a positive attitude. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a desire to chase down deals. * Ability to carry out the entire sales cycle (cold call, demonstrations, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and close) * Ability to work under pressure with a diligent and consistent work ethic. * An outgoing personality, determined attitude, good listening skills and a drive to be the best. * Must be PC literate, able to write professional business emails and compelling proposals. * Familiarity using CRM systems preferably SalesForce. * An understanding of selling to the public sector would be highly advantageous
