Duties & Role
* Distribution Center Management - GCF
o Works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations.
o Maintains item and inventory management records.
o Helps minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs.
o Uses real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed.
o Assists in resolving issues related to physical space management.
* Inventory Management - GCF
o Performs the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location.
o Produces basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile the inventory balances.
o Tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location.
o Works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location.
o Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies.
* Logistics Management - GCF
o Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance.
o Works with logistics in a domestic environment.
o Maintains records of all shipments and invoices using an established system.
o Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity.
o Participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks.
* Supply Chain Management - GCF
o Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain.
o Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
o Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions.
o Summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of products.
o Works with a specific part of supply chain management process.
* Warehouse Management - GCF
o Analysis and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area.
o Assists in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution centre.
o Collects and translates the business requirements for specifications of warehouse management systems.
o Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping merchandise.
o Maintains warehouse equipment and facilities on a regular basis.
Requirements
* The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
* Higher vocational training or secondary education
* 1-3 years\' experience in Supply, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as ERP oracle based systems
* Basic knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling
