Responsibilities
* Act as the dedicated day‑to‑day focal point for personnel administration, providing direct customer interaction and liaison with coordinators and line managers.
* Arrange travel using an online booking system and coordinate with booking companies, coordinators, and travellers.
* Collate and maintain budget‑related information, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
* Maintain and protect personnel‑related data and perform data input and updates within the joint‑Service administration system.
* Assess entitlements such as pay, allowances, expenses, promotions, and awards.
* Undertake any additional tasks directed by the Line Manager, including providing support or cover for other staff members.
* Ensure all activities comply with current Health and Safety Regulations and General Data Protection Regulations.
Qualifications
* Administration experience, with a proven track record of delivering quality, customer‑facing service.
* Highly organized, precise, and confident with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
* Familiarity with MOD personnel administration applications and systems is desirable but not mandatory.
* Proactive, capable of embracing and leading change, and able to manage short‑notice changes to requirements and deadlines.
* High standard of integrity, good judgement, and professionalism; able to present a positive image of the company values.
* Good standard of education required.
* MOD security clearance and DBS Standard required (Proof of right to work in UK essential).
* Required to wear approved company workwear.
