Night Porter Role and Responsibilities:
* Check in late arrivals and check out early departures in line with company procedures.
* Ensure thorough communication with all departments.
* Ensure that all tasks are completed on each shift and complete handover at the end of the shift.
* Ensure that wake up calls are made promptly and book any taxis for guests.
* Take room service orders and deliver to guests.
* Residents’ bar – preparing and serving drinks, cleaning duties.
* Have a thorough knowledge of the fire evacuation procedure and computer systems.
* Ensure site is secure and complete regular walk arounds throughout the shift.
* Set up rooms for meetings and private dining.
* Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork to provide excellent guest service.
