The role of a Bookkeeper is to provide an excellent service for clients, creating and maintaining strong relationships. This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail and a positive and professional approach. It would suit someone looking for part‑time hours, such as school hours.
Responsibilities
* Daily “on‑site” bookkeeping at clients
* Build strong lasting relationships with a large variety of clients
* Implement Xero and ‘app‑stacks’ for client
* Completion of accurate and timely management information
* Assisting in the production of monthly accounts and reports
* Reconciliation balance sheet and P&L accounts
* Preparation and posting journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets etc
* Bank reconciliations
* Preparation of weekly and monthly supplier payments
* Accounts payable with expenses and credit cards
* Accounts receivable and credit control

Requirements
* Fully qualified AAT or “Qualified by experience”
* Full UK driving licence
* Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
* Love and knowledge of technology – Excel and accountancy apps
* Excellent attention to detail
* Xero experience
* A desire to learn and develop
