FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative (20% FLT / 80% Manual Handling) Newton Abbot | £13.50 per hour | 8am-5pm | Monday-Friday | Temporary to Permanent Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a hardworking and reliable FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join the team. This role involves a mix of forklift truck driving and manual warehouse duties, with a strong focus on physical handling tasks. Key Duties: Operate a counterbalance forklift truck (approximately 20% of the role). Carry out manual handling duties (approximately 80% of the role). Lift and move heavy bottles of oil. Unpack deliveries and load and unload pallets. Pack products efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Requirements: Valid and in-date FLT licence within 3 years of start date of licence (essential). Previous warehouse experience preferred. Physically fit and capable of lifting. Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic. Own transport and ability to travel to the workplace. What We Offer: £13.50 per hour. 15-minute paid morning break. 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
