Are you an experienced
Contracts Manager
looking to take ownership of multiple small works and refurbishment projects across the Midlands? The Role
You'll be responsible for managing several
small works projects
(typically up to £2m in value), ensuring they're delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle - from tender to handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee multiple small works and refurbishment projects concurrently.
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet programme and budget requirements.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business.
* Contribute to tendering, cost control, and project reporting.
About You
* Proven background as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager on small works or refurbishment schemes.
* Experience delivering fast-track commercial, education, or healthcare projects.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* SMSTS, First Aid, and relevant construction management qualifications (NVQ Level 6 desirable).
* A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
