The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of cutting‑edge projects within our Component Manufacturing Technology (CMT) group. This is a high‑impact role where you will oversee programme performance, optimise resource allocation, and deliver results across multiple technology themes and customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and deliver multiple large and complex programmes across varied technology areas
* Manage project managers and coordinators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
* Take ownership of programme and portfolio performance, including delivery KPIs and financial targets
* Ensure customer and stakeholder requirements are clearly defined and achieved
* Identify and mitigate risks while proactively solving problems
* Report on performance and progress to senior stakeholders
* Support revenue planning and resource allocation across the portfolio

Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven programme/project leadership in engineering or professional services environments
* Strong people leadership with the ability to influence and deliver through others
* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage at all levels, including senior leadership
* Highly organised, results‑driven mindset with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude
* Strong financial and commercial awareness
* Experience using tools such as MS Project and Excel
Qualifications
* Degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline
