The AA Inn of the Year 2021 are recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Porter to come and join the team.
Nestled in Sedgefield in the heart of the County Durham, the Impeccable Pig boasts 12 stunning, luxury individually designed bedrooms. The Impeccable Pig delivers one of the best bar, restaurant and hotel experiences on the high street.
Food plays a significant part at the Impeccable Pig, with delicious bistro style food, using fresh locally sourced produce, our aim is to ensure that we delight every guest, every single time, so they come back time and time again.
As part of the kitchen team our Kitchen Porters play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen and front of house teams are supported during all service times, and to ensure that all guests receive the best level of customer service and high-quality dishes.
As the successful Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and restaurant to our exceptionally high standards, washing dishes, cleaning floors, along with providing assistance with food preparation.
We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast paced environment, with previous experience of working as a Kitchen Porter, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining/bistro restaurant. You will need excellent time management and organisational skills, be able to demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
But most importantly, you will have a passion for food and enjoy creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Full or part time positions will be considered and the role will include daytime, evening and weekend working.
