As a Secondary Part-time Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, ensuring that students remain engaged and on track with their curriculum. Whether you are covering specific days of the week or a shared timetable, your role as a Secondary Part-time Teacher is crucial in maintaining academic standards and providing continuity for learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialty to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.
* Take an active role in marking, assessment, and tracking student progress.
* Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure a seamless educational experience for pupils.
* Adhere to all school policies, with a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position.
* Proven experience teaching within a UK secondary school environment.
* The ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule (e.g., 2 or 3 days per week).
* Strong communication skills and a professional approach to teaching.
* A valid Right to Work in the UK.
* An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
