Job Description
Key Responsibilities (Procurement & Supply Chain Role)
* Procurement & Vendor Management : Lead supplier onboarding/offboarding, negotiate contracts and pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships ensuring quality, cost, and delivery compliance.
* Performance Monitoring : Design and implement KPIs to track supplier performance and operational standards across the supply chain.
* Operational Efficiency : Optimise order management to reduce costs and delays, support cash flow, and leverage group-wide centralised purchasing opportunities.
* Compliance & Sustainability : Ensure adherence to regulatory and environmental standards and integrate sustainable practices into supply chain processes.
* Technology & Automation : Champion the digitisation and automation of procurement activities; serve as ERP procurement super user and maintain accurate system records.
* Order Management : Raise and manage purchase orders, manually update systems when needed, and ensure timely processing of goods received.
* Property & Lease Management : Oversee property lease contracts, negotiate renewals, and coordinate new site acquisition, valuations, and compliance checks.
* Health & Safety Compliance : Arrange statutory property checks (e.g., gas/electrical safety, fire systems) via approved suppliers.
* People Management : Provide line management to the Supply Chain Administrator, supporting day-to-day operations and development.
* Continuous Improvement & Risk Management : Identify cost-saving opportunities, mitigate supply risks, and drive process improvements using data, analytics, and technology.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
