We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to lead and develop a Commercial Property department based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer to take on a strategic role with genuine leadership responsibility and strong progression prospects. The Role: You will oversee and grow the Commercial Property team while managing a varied and high-quality caseload. Work will include: Advising on commercial acquisitions and disposals Acting on freehold and leasehold transactions, including landlord and tenant work Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, and development agreements Advising on portfolio management, land development, and refinancing Managing and mentoring junior team members Driving business development initiatives and helping grow the department About You: Qualified Solicitor, ideally 6 years PQE (or equivalent experience) Strong technical background in commercial property transactions Experience handling a broad range of work, including landlord and tenant, development, and corporate support Leadership or supervisory experience (or a desire to step into such a role) Client-focused, commercially aware, and confident in building relationships Able to take an active role in developing the team and service offering What's on Offer: Leadership role with autonomy and responsibility Opportunity to shape and grow a Commercial Property department Mix of strategic and hands-on fee-earning work Clear progression pathway Flexible and hybrid working arrangements Competitive salary and benefits package Please contact Faith Kelly for a confidential discussion or apply within.
