Role Overview:
As a SEN Teacher focusing on Behaviour and Communication, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and work closely with a team of professionals to ensure every student thrives both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher:
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons that support students with behavioural and communication challenges.
* Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through consistent and compassionate approaches.
* Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Experience working with students with behavioural and communication needs.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* A proactive and resilient approach to teaching and learning.
* A full ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic role.
