Purpose:

* Ensure statutory responsibilities and documentation are met and up to date.
* Contribute to the safeguarding and wellbeing agenda across the school.

As Teacher of SEND (Primary Specialist):

* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for learners with a range of needs.
* Apply expert knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs frameworks to support learners working at or below age-related expectations.
* Design and lead targeted interventions in core subjects, particularly English and Maths.

* Track progress and use formative and summative assessment to inform teaching.

Whole-School Duties:

* Promote a positive, inclusive ethos across the school community.
* Contribute to staff development and SEND/inclusion CPD.
