Salary: GBP 40,000 - 45,000 per annum

As part of a strategic growth plan, we are recruiting for a Transport Manager to join a FMCG business in the Lisburn area. This is a key role that will evolve as the company expands, offering long-term career progression for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily transport operations to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.
* Manage fleet maintenance, servicing, and compliance with transport legislation.
* Optimise delivery routes and schedules to improve efficiency and service levels.
* Ensure full compliance with DVA regulations, operator licensing, and health & safety requirements.
* Lead and develop the transport team, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Manage relationships with 3PL providers and external hauliers.
* Identify and implement cost-saving strategies through carrier consolidation and contract negotiation.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in transport management, logistics, or fleet operations (FMCG, food manufacturing, or distribution preferred).
* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Transport Management (Essential).
* Strong knowledge of transport compliance, regulations, and health & safety standards.
* Leadership experience in managing driver teams and logistics staff.
* Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and fleet tracking software.
* Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
