An industry-leading main contractor with an exceptional track record in Central London is seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join the delivery team on a flagship shell & core commercial development. With a £35m MEP package and a long-standing partnership with the main contractor client, this is a standout opportunity to step into a high-profile scheme at a pivotal stage.
The Project
You’ll be joining during the final two months of preconstruction, before moving straight into delivery through to project completion in August 2027. You’ll report directly to an experienced Commercial Director and work alongside one other QS within a strong, established Operations team. The main contractor is a long-term client with a trusted, collaborative relationship in place, creating a seamless platform to deliver successfully.
The Role
As Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
• Leading commercial management of a £35m MEP package on a major shell & core development.
• Reporting to a seasoned Commercial Director within a focused two-person commercial team.
• Overseeing procurement, contract management and subcontractor performance.
• Managing forecasting, CVRs and cost control throughout preconstruction and delivery.
• Taking an active role across planning, delivery and completion stages.
• Working within a strong operational structure and established client relationship.
Key Requirements
• Proven commercial experience within MEP on large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong subcontractor management and claims handling ability.
• Confidence operating across the full project lifecycle.
• Ability to work collaboratively within integrated project teams.
