Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor, looking to take the next step in your career?
We are looking to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor based in Leeds. This role involves delivering projects and services across various sectors, joining a vibrant team in an inclusive office, and managing a range of building surveying commissions.
The role includes generating fees through managing and developing existing and new clients and contributing to the financial and strategic objectives of the Building Consultancy Team. The focus will be on driving growth and enhancing technical expertise within the office.
Main Tasks:
* Provide comprehensive building surveying services to external clients and internal stakeholders.
* Support and advise other team members, sharing workload as needed.
* Conduct building surveys of commercial and residential properties.
* Prepare schedules of dilapidations and negotiate with clients and professionals.
* Manage projects, administer contracts, and design refurbishment, conversion, and new build projects.
* Prepare feasibility studies in collaboration with other disciplines.
* Undertake Principal Designer roles for small projects to comply with CDM 2015.
* Prepare schedules of condition and negotiate with clients' representatives.
* Perform additional duties to ensure team efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
You should be a Chartered Building Surveyor with extensive industry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build client relationships. Good time management, technical competence, knowledge of relevant legislation, and a clean driving license are essential.
