Or are you a recent Electrical Engineering graduate looking to kickstart your career in a high-impact environment? We’re seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our expanding team within a respected, multi-disciplinary design & build consultancy. You’ll work on diverse and high-profile projects—including those in secure Government and MOD environments —with a clear route for progression and mentorship. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in aviation, nuclear, or energy sectors, who bring transferable skills and a strong engineering foundation. ⚡ What You’ll Be Doing: Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to delivery. Ensure designs meet relevant British Standards, legislation, and building regulations. Conduct technical reviews, calculations, and electrical layouts. Attend site visits and oversee project delivery and final sign-off. Collaborate with in-house mechanical, structural, CAD, and PM teams. Support tender submissions (PQQ/SQ/ITT) and project proposals. Mentor Graduate Engineers and contribute to team development. ✅ What We’re Looking For: HND/BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering. 5 years’ industry experience OR ambitious graduates looking for entry-level roles. Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office 365, and NBS Chorus. Excellent communication, leadership, and technical problem-solving abilities. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to obtain (or currently hold) SC security clearance. Desirable Skills: ⭐ Chartered status (CEng) – IET or CIBSE. ⭐ Familiarity with Revit, MagiCAD, Amtech, Dialux, BREEAM or DREAM. ⭐ Experience in project management within building services. ⭐ Background in aviation, nuclear, or energy welcomed for transferable technical expertise.
