Data Protection Advisor needed in Exeter Paying £14.10 per hr ref 323289 Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice on data protection compliance, UK GDPR, DPA 2018 and privacy best practice. Support the completion of DPIAs, data mapping exercises, privacy notices, and risk assessments. Manage and advise on Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other information rights requests. Assist with data breach investigations, reporting, and remediation actions. Develop, review and implement data protection policies, procedures, and training materials. Work with teams across the organisation to ensure privacy-by-design and by-default principles. Maintain accurate records and support administrative and monitoring processes. Liaise with internal departments and external partners to promote good information governance.
