BHA is looking for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a BeFriend Worker (Dementia & Volunteers)
It’s a known fact that older people living in rural communities are more prone to feeling lonely and isolated. Our BHA BeFriend service helps support older people living in Berwickshire and Kelso to remain confident in living independently in their own homes and for them to stay socially connected with their local communities.
Working with colleagues and community partners, you’ll help access clients to match them with suitable befriending support or refer them to relevant partner agencies that can help. You’ll also lead on training and expanding the team of BeFriend volunteers.
This is a part-time post with a fixed term till May .
📍Location: Duns (agile)
