An exciting new role as a Hygiene Manager has become available at our retail packing facility in Wales. Due to our continued growth and expansion within the UK and Ireland, this role will support the future growth and business development strategy. As a key representative of the Food Safety & Quality division of the company, this role will provide opportunity for personal growth and development, operating at a strategic level, this will be a dynamic role with scope to drive and manage a wide range of initiatives while collaborating with, and supporting, a high performing and effective Technical team. The Hygiene Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day hygiene activities and systems across the Site. Specific Daily / Weekly Duties Manage day to day hygiene activities and systems across the Site. Ensure hygiene standards are met and continuously improved. Lead, train and develop the hygiene team. Collaborate with internal and eternal stakeholders to enhance hygiene systems and standards. Ensure compliance with Company manufacturing standards, legislation and customer requirements. Implement technical strategies base don customer and business needs. Lead the function in audits and visits. Operate as part of the technical team to standardize and deliver best practices. Key Skills Strong literacy and numeracy skills. Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office, Hygiene Systems, and ERP management systems. Attention to detail and quality. Ability to effectively demonstrate and describe procedures. Experience in building and managing a team, with the ability to motivate staff. Self-motivate with a hands-on approach. Excellent communication skills with a professional and positive attitude. Good interpersonal, influencing, coaching and negotiating skills. Knowledge of food safety principles and BRC standards. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as necessary. Preferable Skills Background and previous work experience in Hygiene within a manufacturing environment is preferable.
