Brief
Mobile Electrician needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Luton who are looking to employ an experienced and well‑rounded Mobile Electrician that takes pride in their work.
The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 NVQ or Diploma as well as their 18th Edition.
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of fabric and limited engineering assets, ensuring all activities are completed safely, timely and in accordance with the contracted output specifications.

What the role entails
* Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to the electrical infrastructure and plant in accordance with site task schedules and CAFM.
* Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
* Ensure that plant faults and defects are always swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
* Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
* Provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
* Complete all relevant paperwork/CAFM regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and pass it without delay to the contract administrator.
* Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
* Provide a safe and healthy working environment, including wearing uniform and PPE at all times.
* Keep up‑to‑date plant logs at all times.
* Supervise and monitor subcontractor works whilst on site during maintenance.
* Maintain awareness and compliance with contractual KPI's/SLA's.
* Keep CAFM system (e.g. PlanOn) up to date and close out PPM and reactive tickets with accurate data.
What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Electrician
Essential
* Full clean UK driving licence
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or equivalent such as City & Guilds Technical Certificate in Electrical.
* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
Desired but not essential
* IPAF
* PLASMA
