We are seeking a skilled and proactive Clerk of Works to join our newly established team dedicated to addressing damp, mould, and disrepair issues.

As Clerk of Works, you will be responsible for ensuring damp, mould and disrepair works undertaken on behalf of the council meet required standards and fully comply with specifications and contractual requirements.

Your input will be central to driving forward our commitment to delivering high-quality housing services that really make a difference to the lives of our tenants.

You will have strong technical knowledge and significant experience of undertaking inspections and surveys of construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects across housing, commercial or public sector properties and a professional qualification such as ICWCI is desirable.

Excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential, as you will liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing advice and guidance.

Strong analytical capability and meticulous attention to detail are also critical for this varied and fast-paced position.

* All employees are eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
* Paid holiday entitlement starts at 26 days per annum and increases with length of service to a maximum of 33 days per annum. This is pro rata for part-time employees
